I guess it is all a matter of what you are looking for....This e-book is full of information, but it is the same data that you can easily get on line for free. I was looking for reviews, suggestions, etc, and in this book you get none of that -- just the facts, ma'am. If all you want is a LIST of restaurants, hotels, shows, etc then this is fine....if you want an idea of which show/nightclub/hotel you should book, well then look somewhere else. I know everyone has different tastes and opinions but I like hearing what the author thinks, or has heard about the various options. For me, a total waste of $10 I could have put in the slots!Product details

This is a very helpful guide to Vegas. It's clear, easy to navigate, and tells you everything you need to know. Whatever you're looking for in Vegas, you'll find it here.
A great book for inexperienced Vegas travelers; Vegas vets might enjoy it, but it is geared towards being useful to those who don't know all the ins and outs of Vegas. The writing is straightforward and has a sense of humor. You'll get a few laughs out of it, and quite a bit of practical info. I found it well organized and easy to find what I was interested in; not sure where the other reviewer was coming from.
Simplifying Las Vegas is a good travel guide. I found it informative with some solid gambling advice. It is an easy read and very conversational in tone. And, contrary to a previous comment about the book, it does indeed have a table of contents that you can click on to take you to each section of the book.
I recommend it for anyone who wants the latest and greatest about planning and booking your trip to Vegas.
I've been to Las Vegas numerous times and used different travel guides, but this one is my favorite. It's very comprehensive but still easy to use and fun to read. Most important, I've always found the information up to date, which is tough to do for a city like Vegas. I also like the fact that the information is objective, and gives me exactly what I need (like price, atmosphere, etc.) without being opinionated. It's conversational, easy to understand, and it keeps me from having to constantly Google different sites. Highly recommend.
I bought this item in order to avoid carrying a travel book. I am a fan of ACCESS books,which do not appear to be updated. I bought this book based on the intro and table of contents.
Alas it is impossible to navagate through the book because it lacks a table of contents. The sample version does not indicate that you can not click on Table of contents and go to that section.
